EAST BAY, Calif. — BART service in the East Bay has stopped Wednesday afternoon between Concord and Walnut Creek, the transit agency announced at 12:38 p.m.
The service disruption is due to a power issue.
Officials advised commuters to seek alternate means of transportation during the service outage.
Earlier Wednesday, BART announced major delays on the Antioch Line due to an equipment problem on the track near the Pittsburg/Bay Point station and a fire near Pleasant Hill.
