Fairfield woman accused of slashing others tires, brandishing large dagger

FAIRFIELD, Calif. — Crystal Perry, 59, is accused of vandalism and brandishing a dagger after allegedly slashing a car’s tires and threatening two people with a dagger, police said.
The incident occurred shortly after midnight Wednesday, according to the Fairfield Police Department.
A woman reported that Perry had poured paint on her car and slashed its tires. When confronted, Perry fled.
The two women are known to each other, police said in a news release.
Later, when the woman and a friend visited Perry’s apartment to inquire about the damage, Perry emerged with a dagger. Both women escaped and contacted the police.
Perry was detained and arrested, with her dagger confiscated.
Further details on their relationship and the motive for the vandalism have not been disclosed.
