FAIRFIELD, Calif. — A natural gas leak was reported Monday afternoon in Fairfield, officials said.
The Fairfield Fire Department was dispatched at 12:53 p.m. to the 1900 block of North Texas Street.
The Fairfield Police and PG&E were also on the scene.
Multiple buildings were evacuated in the area, Fairfield Fire said. Traffic on North Texas Street near Acacia Street was affected for some time.
It’s not clear what caused the gas leak, but no injuries have been reported.
