A third rapidly spreading fire sparked in Los Angeles County, prompting evacuations, burning hundreds of acres, on Tuesday night, as crews were already grappling with the devastating Palisades Fire in the western portion of the county and the Eaton Fire near Pasadena.
The Hurst Fire, initially called the Sylmar Fire, began around 10:10 p.m., the Los Angeles Fire Department said.
