San Bruno BART station closes for major medical emergency
BART announced the closure at 5:43 a.m.
SAN BRUNO, Calif. — The San Bruno BART station was shut down early Tuesday morning following a “major medical emergency,” according to the Bay Area Rapid Transit District.
BART announced the closure at 5:43 a.m.
There was a 20-minute delay on the San Francisco Line in the Antioch, Richmond, SFO and Millbrae directions, officials said.
According to BART, a person was hit by a train when they were in the trackway. JLR is working to learn if they are alive.
SamTrans was providing bus service between South San Francisco and Millbrae on bus ECR, BART said.
