SACRAMENTO, Calif. — A 16-year-old boy was stabbed in the chest in front of an Arden-Arcade high school on Tuesday afternoon, the Sacramento County Sheriff's Office said.
Deputies responded to Mira Loma High School for the report of a stabbing around 3:52 p.m.
The sheriff's office said the victim is still alive, but has not released any further details about his condition.
It's unclear if the victim is a student or not, officials said. The sheriff's office said one person has been detained in a vehicle that is possibly related to the stabbing.
