The National Weather Service issued a tornado warning for parts of Tehama County and Shasta County, including the communities of Shingletown, Manton, and Paynes Creek, Friday evening.
A tornado was observed on the ground.
There are no reports of damage or injuries.
The warning expired at 6 p.m.
