Vista Grande Fire burns nearly 70 acres near Rancho Solano, mandatory evacuations lifted

FAIRFIELD, Calif. — The 4 alarm Vista Grande Fire in Fairfield was fueled by a 23 mph Delta Breeze, near the Rancho Solano neighborhood and Golf Course on Monday evening, staring around 3:45 p.m.
That area was defended from the ground and the air, by all Solano County fire departments and CalFire.
At least 65 acres burned in Fairfield.
Much of Fairfield, and Vacaville to the north saw unhealthy air quality as a result.
Evacuation Orders were issued for Zones: FRF-1658, FRF-1694, FRF-1698, and FRF-1660-A per the Genasys Evacuation Map, before being lifted.
Residence were urged to rally at the Lowe's on N. Texas Street and Manual Campos PKWY.
The accidental fire was started by a crew for the city that was clearing vegetation in the area.
