Wildfires in California: Live updates for 6/29/2025
JLR is monitoring several fires up and down the state. Here is the latest.
Kenyon Fire: 30 acres with a moderate rate of spread in Redding. Burning on 1400 Kenyon Drive. Evacuations ordered for COR-434, with warnings issued COR-431, COR-432, COR-433, and COR-435 since being lifted. The evacuation zones are viewable via the Genasys Map.
Marysville Fire: 20 acres & 15% contained along 12100 Marysville Road. Evacuation warnings in place. Continuing slow rate of spread.
McCauley Fire: 15 acres in brush and timber in Mariposa County, along Old Yosemite Road, in the Stanislaus National Forest. No evacuations in place.
Mandalay Fire: 70 acres in Riverside County. Evacuations are being conducted along Mandalay Court, Eureka Drive, and Gaylord Street, per incident command, in the area where the fire is burning. The fire poses an immediate threat to life, structures, and property. An additional 5 engines, 2 hand crews, and 1 copter have been requested. 2 air tankers and 1 air attack have been requested by incident command, with all fixed wing aircraft since released. Evacuation Orders have been issued for Zones RIV-0309 & RIV-0310. A Care and Reception center will be open at La Sierra Sr Community Center located at 5215 La Sierra Ave, per Riverside PD on Facebook. FORWARD PROGRESS HAS BEEN STOPPED.
Mindy Fire: The fire is 72 acres in Riverside County on Red Mountain with a medium rate of spread in brush with a few homes immediately threatened, per Incident Command. 10 additional engines being requested of any type. Potential for 200 acres. Evacuation Orders & Warnings have been requested by Incident Command, including Evacuation Orders for Zones RVC-2044 & RVC-2179 on Genasys, plus RVC-2180. Evacuation Orders have been issued for Zones RVC-2180, RVC-1979, RVC-2044 & RVC-2179 on Genasys. Evacuation Warnings have been issued for Zones RVC-2043, RVC-2115, RVC-2177 & RVC-2178 on Genasys. Forward progress has since been stopped.
Wolf Fire: At least 1200 acres in Riverside County. An Evacuation Order has been issued for the following areas: RVC-0650, 0750, 0828, RVC-POP1 TWN-1 MRF-0539, 0751, TWN-2, 0749, RVC POP 4 - per a Wireless Emergency Alert Additionally the fire is now directly impacting homes on Mt Edna and is bumping Hwy 243. Additional Evacuation Warnings have been issued for Zones: RVC-0898, RVC-1000, RVC-1001 - Per the Genasys Evacuation Map. Additionally Zone: BAN-0651 has been split into 2 Zones. Zone A is under an Evacuation Order and Zone B is under an Evacuation Warning.
Cable Fire: At least 15 acres on Martin Ranch Road in San Bernardino County. Airdrops are helping slow the fire, with forward progress stopped as of 7 p.m. The Evacuation Order was for Martin Ranch Road North of West Meyers, with the warning being South of West Meyers to Little League Dr.
Snows Fire: 1 acre fire burned in Camino on Snows Road.
