SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. — A woman, Diane Bahlawan, was arrested at San Francisco International Airport on May 6 for allegedly attempting to smuggle 151 pounds of marijuana on a flight to Frankfurt, Germany.
The drugs were found in four large roller bags after security flagged the heavy luggage.
Bahlawan was carrying 131 vacuum-sealed bags of marijuana.
Authorities also seized her boarding pass, cellphone, and $960 in cash.
She faces two felony charges: unlawful transport of marijuana and burglary. Bahlawan has posted bail and is set for her initial arraignment on June 2.
